Miami is a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches, lively atmosphere, and diverse culinary scene. For dog owners, exploring the city’s best food spots doesn’t have to mean leaving their furry friends behind. Each year there is an increasing number of dog-friendly establishments and Miami is rated one of the top most dog friendly in the USA! In this blog article, we’ll share with you the top 7 dog-friendly restaurants and cafés in Miami that you and your pet can’t miss!

7. Taurus Beer & Whiskey House:
Nestled in Miami’s historic Coconut Grove neighborhood, The Taurus (3540 Main Hwy c103, Miami, FL 33133) is a beloved destination for whiskey enthusiasts and dog lovers alike. With its impressive selection of craft brews, extensive whiskey collection, and delicious food. The menu here is curated by acclaimed neighboring restaurants which adds to it’s diverse food selection! This place also has TVs that play live sports which can be fun to catch a game here. Many people also come here to play trivia, do stand-up comedy, or simply to just enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and unwind with friends. We recommend this place for a very casual fun time with your dog!
6. The Lido Bayside Grill
Located at 40 Island Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, this is the ideal spot to enjoy after a nice morning or afternoon in Miami Beach! If you paid for all-day parking in one of the Miami Beach parking lots (which we recommend). We have more tips around the Miami Beach driving and parking situation in our Ultimate Pet Friendly Miami Guide. Anyways, Lido Bayside Grill is a great Mediterranean spot located at the bayside deck at The Standard. You can bring your dog along to enjoy the breathtaking views and remarkable food. Although the prices may be slightly higher here, the overall white-glove service more than compensates for it. This place is also very good for anyone with dietary restrictions as their menu provides a ton of yummy vegan, gluten and vegetarian options. Lido’s emphasis on locally-sourced, fresh, and clean ingredients highlights the vibrant flavors of their dishes, including line-caught seafood to reduce bycatch and promote sustainability. And if you need a little pick-me-up, their strong and bold coffee is roasted and sourced right here in Miami.
5. Morgan's
We recently discovered a delightful pet-friendly brunch spot in midtown Miami located at (28 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33137-4413). With its charming atmosphere and lively ambiance, it was a no brainer choice for us on a relaxed Sunday outing. However, we recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times. While the food was enjoyable, it didn’t quite meet the high expectations set by reviews and articles online — however the ambiance and overall experience was still great. We recommend the outdoor seating area to really soak in the atmosphere! Keep in mind that there are other brunch options in the area that offer better food quality, but if you’re looking for a pet-friendly spot and a vibrant Sunday experience, this place is still worth considering.

4. Momosan
Located at 415 NW 26th St, Miami, FL 33127, Momosan is very tasty place near Wynnwood! If you’re a dog lover looking for a great spot to grab some delicious sushi and ramen dishes, we highly recommend Momosan Wynwood! You can bring your furry friend inside with you, which is a huge plus. The menu features amazing appetizers like tuna pizza and pork gyoza, as well as a variety of sake, beer, and wine options. Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends at the bar or enjoy a group meal, Momosan Wynwood has something for everyone!
3. Greenstreet Cafe
Located at 3468 Main Hwy Coconut Grove, Miami, FL 33133, in Miami’s upscale neighborhood Coconut Grove — and also known as the “IT spot”. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night dining. The American cuisine is delicious and the outdoor patio is perfect for people watching. Arriving early is a smart move to avoid any waiting time. You can bring your well-behaved furry friend along to join you on the patio (which we recommend anyways to enjoy the Miami weather). The food is simply superb, and the service is top-notch. There are SO many great options here. We recommend the mouthwatering omelettes, amazing French toast, or the out-of-this-world cinnamon pancakes.

2. Carrot Express
This is the perfect spot for delicious and fresh food in Miami Beach. We have been on a mostly whole foods diet and was craving for something that was not cooked in refined oils or not too heavily processed. And then we found Carrot Express (multiple locations). Whether you’re looking for a satisfying meal or a quick snack, this place has got you covered. What’s even better is the inviting atmosphere and the fact that they are dog-friendly! They offer a variety of options, but my personal favorites are the poke wrap, egg sandwich and the marinated chicken breast with cilantro brown rice, avocado, and pico de gallo. It’s a fantastic experience every time, and you can even share some of the scrumptious dishes with your furry best friend (since most of their ingredients are clean — just be sure to check if it’s something your dog can consume). So, if you’re craving a healthy and flavorful meal, Carrot Express is the way to go!
1. Sushi Kong
Located outside Coral Gables, at 3000 Coral Way Cu-4, Coral Gables, FL 33145-3243, Sushi Kong is a delightful Japanese restaurant with captivating Latin influences. We recommend this place particularly because it’s dog friendly but the fish quality here is also amazing! While we savored the eclectic twists on traditional sushi, rolls, and wok dishes, our four-legged buddy enjoyed a specially curated dog menu, complete with a delightful bowl of “kongle” – a delightful blend of wet and dry salmon dog food accompanied by crunchy carrots. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good sushi and a place to hang out with your dog by your side. They even have a cute dog menu as well in case your dog is also hungry!
